Logline
A vengeful investigator hunts the therapist he blames for a childhood massacre, never suspecting the brother he’s hunting might be the only one who remembers what actually happened.
Synopsis
Karl built something no licensing board would approve: a device that syncs his brainwaves to his patients’ through sound and water, while psilocybin hidden in the tea breaks the wall between conscious and subconscious. It’s illegal. It’s unmatched. But the door he opens in them is opening in him.
Suho learns what’s in the tea and walks. Not betrayal, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Edward poses as a private investigator. He’s really Karl’s brother, certain Karl massacred their parents and sister as a child, then fled. Karl believes it too, the way he believes a heart condition is slowly killing him. A drug lord, Karl’s first patient, invites him onto his yacht to settle a deal. It becomes Karl’s breaking point.
Edward uses the collapse to force one last session, drags him through the night they both survived, and hands him to the police. A year in, a cellmate who knows gunshot wounds spots the scar on Karl’s back. Not heart surgery. A bullet. There was no condition. There was a gun, but it wasn’t Karl holding it.
Edward drives away believing he’s won. The truth is already in the car with him, becoming his breaking point.

Gregory Köfer has always been drawn to psychological themes, stories shaped by the catharsis of anime, the moral ambiguity of antiheroes, the world building and cold precision of films like Akira and The Prestige.
That instinct toward depth, distortion, and the architecture of a well-built twist runs through everything he writes and makes films.
Commercially, he has worked with Fashion and Culture Houses such as Fendi x Ren Meguro, L’Officiel Elle across Japan, and internationally, alongside global brands like Red Bull, Volkswagen, Porsche, Miu Miu, Pringles, Carhartt, BMC, and athletes including David Villa.
Parallel to THERAPY SESSION, he is currently in pre-production of a science documentary filmed at CERN, entering principal photography in Q4 2026 , his next step into long-form, narrative-driven work.
